what is acupuncture?

Acupuncture is the method of inserting fine filiform needles strategically on the body to elicit a biomedical response to treat pain, digestive disharmony, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, sleep disorders and many other health dysfunctions.
When the appropriate treatment is administered properly, a profound effect of your body's natural inclination to repair and restore it's own balance can be achieved.

what to expect

When receiving acupuncture, the following responses can be expected at the site of needle insertion: a warm sensation, dull ache, muscle tension release, a slight vibration, perhaps. All of these are normal responses. Acupuncture works with your body not against it. Communication is key in our partnership to your lasting health.
